Captain'S Lodge Motel - Gloucester

Great location near the beach and local shops. Rooms were well cared for, and it was evident that the owner has invested in updates. Enjoyed the clean pool area 🏖️ a solid choice.

It offered very good service and local food too.

The room was HUGE with nice high ceilings and had welcome amenities like a fridge and microwave. The laminate flooring was a plus! The shower head was great and really powerful. A very nice beach is close by too. Overall a decent stay!

The location was great for visiting beaches and local shops. The patio outside was perfect. The recently renovated room had high ceilings and felt spacious. Staff members were helpful with information about the area. A lovely stay.

Location: the hotel was right by local beach and a shopping plaza that has a grocery and liquor store and the surrounding area. Truly enjoyed the room with kitchenette, my bed was comfortable.

The place is doin' some upgrades, cool. Room was clean, a fridge and microwave are a must-have! Had a powerful shower too. Could use a few more touches, though. Can't beat the beach nearby, that's for sure. Loved the spacey feel with high ceilings. Just some tweaks needed, ya know?

My family and I had a wonderful two-night stay. The large, clean rooms with pretty decor. We enjoyed the lovely patio area in the evenings and the pool, which provided a great spot to relax after a day exploring the nearby attractions, like the Fishermen's Memorial Monument and the Ten Pound Lighthouse just a short drive away. The pricing was a fantastic deal compared to other options closer to the beach, allowing us to enjoy our vacation without breaking the bank.

The spacious Beautiful Double Room offered a cute atmosphere with high ceilings and a well-maintained setup. A mini fridge kept refreshments cold , and the staff's friendliness. The pool area could use some maintenance, as it appeared uninviting, and Wi-Fi access was inconsistent at times. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall value for such a roomy accommodation remains commendable.

The pool looked green, uninviting!!! The grass around the hotel was poorly maintained!!! The Wi-Fi connection was weak and not reliable!!! A vending machine would be nice for late-night snacks!!!

The motel's location is perfect for exploring Gloucester and Rockport. I enjoyed the spacious room with its cute amenities like a fridge and microwave.
